Experience
William J. Wright spent 14 years working in lifestyle and food television for Scripps Networks Interactive (the former parent company of such cable outlets as Food Network, Cooking Channel, and Travel Channel), where he reviewed countless hours of culinary content for air. While with Scripps, he came into contact with many food luminaries, such as Alton Brown, Guy Fieri, and Susie Fogelson.
Education
William earned a bachelor of arts degree from East Tennessee State University in 1998, majoring in English with a minor in film studies. He helped establish ETSU's film studies minor with professor and film scholar Mary Hurd and was the program's first graduate.
