Taylor has worked as a professional writer in digital and print for six years. Her passion for learning about and documenting cultures and subcultures has led her to cover a range of topics, including food, travel, and music. Her work in Alternative Press, Kerrang, Revolver, and Loudwire attracted the attention of Mango Publishing, who in 2019 published her debut book, an oral history entitled, "From the Basement: A History of Emo Music & How It Changed Society." While Taylor still engages in music journalism, her interests and studies have expanded to include international food and beverage. She was a transformative force in building up SupermarketItaly.com, which also led her to create content for various food brands, including the famous Luxardo: The Original Maraschino Cherries.

Education

Taylor graduated from Emerson College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Writing, Literature & Publishing, a program specifically designed for writers determined to make it in the publishing industry. She was a two-time Academic Welcome speaker on behalf of the school's Interdisciplinary Studies program.
