Michelle has been cooking and baking ever since she was a kid. She's been food blogging for over a year now, learning and growing as a food writer and food photographer. Prior to that, she graduated with a degree in Culinary Arts and worked in the food industry for four years and even started her own baking business. Now as a stay at home mom, she continues to work in the food industry as a food blogger. Michelle's blog, barefootinthepines.com, is meant to encourage new cooks to get in the kitchen and to help families find easy and delicious recipe ideas.

Education

After graduating high school, Michelle attended a local college and graduated with an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts. After graduating, she worked in a bakery to gain professional experience.
