Experience

Katy began her career in Colorado as a news reporter for The Denver Post. She then worked at Rocky Mountain PBS as an editorial assistant. Following that, she returned to The Denver Post as an editor/designer. Before her official career began, Katy completed internships at The News & Observer and Eye Magazine. When she's not writing, Katy is most likely in the kitchen experimenting with new ingredients.

Education

Katy received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Elon University in 2015. She later graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a master's degree in journalism in 2017.
