From there, he expanded his coverage to writing about designers, filmmakers, fashionistas — anyone with a left-field angle and something fun to say. While Austin currently resides in Salt Lake City, he is always plotting his next adventure and where to find the freshest bite.

Austin has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City where he focused on critical theory and how technology shapes literature.
