Roasted Pork Tenderloin Recipe

Are you looking for an easy (yet entirely impressive) recipe for dinner? Whether you're searching for a go-to weeknight meal, or a dish that is sure to surprise your guests, this is it. Say hello to this easy, delicious roasted pork tenderloin. "Pork can sometimes be the underdog when it comes to choosing meat for dinner," says recipe developer and food photographer Petar Marshall. Tenderloin's reputation for being bland or dry can often precede it, but not with this recipe. According to Marshall, this simple roasted pork tenderloin is absolutely jam-packed with flavor, thanks to the addition of a few simple ingredients.

You'll only need a pork loin, butter, garlic, Italian parsley, and seasoning to pull off this recipe at home. The prep takes just 10 minutes, and once the meat is dressed up, you can leave the rest of the work up to your oven. Roast this pork loin for any occasion and mix and match the options for side dishes each time. From smashed potatoes to rice or even a simple salad, this roast is the perfect match.

Gather the ingredients for roasted pork tenderloin

To get started on this tasty recipe, grab all of your ingredients first. For this roasted pork tenderloin recipe, you'll need a 6-pound pork loin, one stick of butter, four cloves of garlic, seven sprigs of fresh parsley, and salt and pepper.

"This recipe can easily be adapted depending on the size of your pork loin," says Marshall. "If you have a smaller piece of meat, adjust the amount of butter and herbs accordingly."

Mince the parsley and garlic

Preheat the oven to 375 F. While giving the oven time to warm up, prepare the parsley and garlic. Remove the parsley leaves from the stems and finely mince them. Mince the garlic as well.

Season the pork loin

"Seasoning the meat ahead of time will create a great base of flavor," says Marshall. Generously season the pork loin with salt and pepper, to taste.

Top the pork loin with herbed butter

To make the herbed butter, put the stick of softened butter in a small bowl. Break it up with a spatula, and then stir in the minced garlic and parsley. "The herbed butter creates a delicious, golden crust," says Marshall. Once the butter is seasoned, use a spatula to spread it over the top of the pork loin.

Roast the pork loin

Once the pork loin has been prepared, place it in a roasting pan. Put the pan in the oven and roast the meat for 45 minutes to 1 hour. "Be sure to use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature of the meat has reached 140 F," says Marshall.

After checking the temperature, remove the roast from the oven. Serve it immediately garnished with greens and parsley leaves, if desired.
