Instagram Is Loving Katie Lee Biegel's Breakfast With A View
With Christmas only a few days away, the holiday season has officially swung into high gear. Procrastinating shoppers are rushing to buy the last of their holiday gifts and little ones are anxiously counting down the days until December 25. Not to mention social gatherings have gone from being few and far between to every single day. From ugly sweater parties to family get togethers, holiday dinners to white elephant exchanges, this season is the time when social gatherings reign – albeit a bit differently this year in the midst of the pandemic. And while it's hard not to love the abundance of games, drinks, laughter, and fun, it can all be a bit much. Sometimes we all just need a little down time to relax, unwind, and reflect on 2021 as the year comes to a close.
One person who is embracing her alone time this week is Katie Lee Biegel. The former "Top Chef" host has finally been able to celebrate the holiday season after wrapping up filming on "The Kitchen," which she co-hosts on Food Network. "Wrapped Season 30 of The Kitchen today, made it home in time for bath and bedtime ... celebrating on the couch with popcorn and an Aperol Spritz," Biegel shared on her Instagram story. "Life is good!!" Aside from relaxing in her own home, Biegel has found other, fancier ways to get some much deserved R&R this time of year.
"The Kitchen" co-host is embracing her down time this holiday season
Everyone deserves to treat themselves every once and a while, whether it's on a night out or a spa getaway. It's particularly important to prioritize self-care during the holidays, when stress levels can skyrocket to an all-time high. Katie Lee Biegel is leading by example with a luxurious overnight at the Mandarin Oriental in New York City. The cookbook author posted a photo on Instagram, featuring the breakfast spread made of dreams. Coffee, a croissant, and what looks like a cup of blood orange juice lay on the table in front of her, with a stunning view of the New York City skyline in the background. "Breakfast for 1," she captioned the post. "Watching sunrise over Manhattan @mo_newyork. Had such a nice stay here at #MandarinOrientalNewYork #ImAFan."
Biegel's followers gushed over her breakfast with a view in the comments section. "Love that hotel. Best cocktails," one user wrote, while another commented, "Omg that croissant." Another user responded with what we are all secretly thinking: "Wish that was my house right now." If you are feeling overwhelmed a little extra this week, follow Katie's lead and take some much-needed time for yourself. You deserve it!
