Aldi Shoppers Are So Excited For These 3 Holiday Trail Mixes
More than 40 million people shop at Aldi every single month (via Aldi). The national grocery chain — which has more than 2,000 locations across the country — is famous for its ultra low prices that save you money, minimalist store layout that's easy to navigate, and "Special Buys" section that's fun to browse through whenever you stop by. Popular among Aldi fans, the retailer's "Special Buys" are seasonal, limited-edition food and home products that sell out quickly.
Aldi has come out with plenty of holiday "Special Buys" already this month. There were the adult Advent calendars, full of everything from gourmet chocolates to Irish cream. There were the melting snowmen hot chocolate bombs for the perfect cuppa cocoa. There was the wildly popular pre-made eggnog and peppermint bark wine, just in time for all of your seasonal festivities. And now, there's another Christmas-themed find that people are clamoring to get their hands on: Aldi's holiday trail mix. Here's what you need to know about the new release.
There are 3 seasonal flavors of the new trail mix
If you're looking for something sweet and salty to snack on this season, you might want to scoop up one of Aldi's new holiday trail mixes. Aldi fan account @aldi.mademedoit recently posted a photo of the snacks on Instagram. According to the photo, the trail mixes come in three flavors: candy cane, salted caramel, and peppermint hot cocoa.
The candy cane trail mix includes peppermint candy, roasted almonds, cookie pieces, and chocolate-covered pretzels, while the salted caramel trail mix includes sea salt caramel truffles, salted caramel-flavored cashews, dark chocolate pretzels, and roasted almonds. Last but not least, the peppermint hot cocoa trail mix boasts peppermint pretzel balls, dark chocolate-covered almonds, sweet cream almonds, dark chocolate chunks, and yogurt-flavored marshmallow bites. Each container costs $9.99.
Those who have already tried it are giving it great reviews. "I got the peppermint hot chocolate and candy cane and they are AMAZING," one Instagram commenter wrote. If you're unable to find the holiday trail mix at your local Aldi, fret not. The grocery chain offers plenty of other tasty trail mixes year round.
