Gordon Ramsay Can't Decide What He Would Eat For His Last Meal
Well-known celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has strong opinions on all things related to food. The one thing he greatly dislikes? Food served on flights. He told Refinery29 in an interview that he always avoids eating the dishes that are served on planes. He explained, "I worked for airlines for ten years, so I know where this food's been and where it goes, and how long it took before it got on board."
But he loves experimenting and making different kinds of smoothies for his children. They're quick, yummy, and great for busy mornings. What about Ramsay's favorite food items, though? Well, when it comes to fast food, Ramsay has a clear favorite. As per Taste of Home, he cannot turn down a good burger from In-N-Out. He said, "Take me to the drive-thru at In-N-Out burger and you'll see me in the back seat with tinted windows with a Double Double."
If you ask the chef about his final meal, though, you'll see that while he can't make up his mind, he has some ideas he'd consider.
Gordon Ramsay has considered a couple of options
Like the rest of us, Gordon Ramsay has some dishes that he absolutely loves feasting on. When he was once questioned about what he would like his last meal to be, his answer was the quintessential British dish, beef Wellington (via Insider.) In fact, Ramsay is known for making a delicious plate of the dish himself and many swear by his take on it. What's more? Beef Wellington shows up in many of his eateries.
Meanwhile, as per Serious Eats, Ramsay is fairly partial to roast beef and chose that as the number one option in the book, "My Last Supper." He gave more details in a conversation with The Globe and Mail and said that for his final meal, he would happily combine roast beef with a serving of Yorkshire pudding and some red wine gravy. What a classic choice, right?
