Is Domino's Open On Christmas 2021?
When the craving for a hot, greasy slice of pizza hits, you have a lot of options. Along with Papa John's and Little Caesar's, one of the most popular carryout pizza joints is Domino's. It's hard to drive down the street without seeing a car driving by with the familiar red and blue lit-up sign on top, on its way to deliver a pie to a hungry household. Famous for its "30 minutes or less" delivery guarantee, Domino's has more than 18,000 locations around the world and offers a variety of pizzas, from classic cheese to Cali Chicken Bacon Ranch to MeatZZa (via Domino's). You can even add on the crowd-favorite lava cake — oozing with melted fudge — for dessert afterwards.
While Domino's is typically open seven days a week with late-night hours, will it be open on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day in 2021? Here's what you need to know about Domino's' holiday hours, and whether or not you'll be able to order a pizza from the national chain on December 24 or 25 this year.
Some Domino's locations might be open
If your Christmas Day dinner plans look like a pizza (or two or three for the whole family), you might be able to order from Domino's. However, it's hit or miss on whether or not your local Domino's will be open. According to Delish, because most of the chain's locations are independently owned and operated, each store manager decides if they want to keep the doors open on December 25 — it's a not a company-wide decision. Your best bet is to call ahead or check online to find out which locations are still offering carryout or delivery over the holiday. The same likely applies to Christmas Eve, as well, as many restaurants have limited hours on December 24.
Before you panic order pizza right now, there's still a good chance you'll be able to dig into a Domino's pie on Christmas. A representative from the chain told Country Living that while each location can choose its holiday hours, many opt to stay open as it tends to be a very busy day for pizza making (and pizza eating!).
