Why White Chocolate May Be Disappearing From Dunkin'
As much as people love Dunkin' donuts — from the popular strawberry frosted with sprinkles to the classic glazed — many customers love its coffee beverages even more. In fact, Taste of Home reports that the national fast food chain sells a cup of coffee every 60 seconds each day in the United States. And of course, you don't have to settle for just a plain old brew. In case you didn't know, there are more than 15,000 ways to order a coffee drink at Dunkin' (via Eat This, Not That!). You can customize almost every aspect of your beverage to make it just to your liking, from the type of dairy to the sweetener. The combinations are practically endless.
One of the most popular ways to customize coffee at Dunkin' is by adding one of the chain's wide variety of flavors. While the list contains caramel, French vanilla, mocha, and more, it's about to get a little bit shorter. According to a Reddit post, Dunkin's toasted white chocolate flavor is soon to be nonexistent. Here's what you need to know.
Dunkin's toasted white chocolate flavor has been discontinued
Toasted white chocolate swirl is one of Dunkin's seasonal coffee flavors. However, it won't be on the menu for much longer. According to Redditors, the holiday flavor has recently been discontinued, so it won't be restocked once it runs out. "Be prepared for your local Dunkin' to be completely out of White Chocolate," one Reddit post explained. "This is unfortunately due to a supply issue." Customers quickly chimed in, saying they've had trouble finding it at their own Dunkin' stores as well. Many are disappointed. "My store hasn't been able to get it in for weeks. Super frustrating," one person wrote.
According to one Redditor, the toasted white chocolate flavor was supposed to be available until January. But many stores have already run out, thanks to the combination of high demand and low supply. "We have been out for like two weeks and we were told the warehouse is out," a Dunkin' employee commented.
