This Much-Missed Cereal Is Making A Comeback

It's been 10 long years since we've tasted the fan favorite cereal from Post, but lovers of Oreo O's won't have to wait much longer. The much-missed cereal is making a comeback, and it's set to hit a grocery store near you in June of 2017, according to a press release. 

It's no wonder the cereal was a massive hit as soon as it was introduced in 1998. Everyone knows Oreos were meant to be eaten with milk, so a cereal creation seemed like a natural next step.

There was huge outcry when the cereal was discontinued in 2007, and fans have been pleading for it's return since the day the final boxes sold out. They've been forming online groups and tweeting their hearts out, and it seems that someone at Post must have finally heard their pleas. 

But anyone paying careful attention to new packaging may notice that something appears to me missing from this valiant return — the marshmallows. Even the company's description of the soon-to-be-released cereal omits this all-important ingredient, noting instead a creamy coating that creates a bowl of "cookie milk." Sounds absolutely delicious, but will it be the same? We'll have to wait and see — but not for long!
