Giada De Laurentiis Fans Won't Want To Miss Her New Bloomingdale's Collab
Who doesn't want to live like Giada De Laurentiis? While most people will never enjoy the Food Network star/author/entrepreneur's fortune or fame, we can do the holidays like Giada.
The Giada De Laurentiis holiday lifestyle is within reach of Bloomingdale's shoppers, for whom De Laurentiis has curated not only some great food finds, but plenty of other gift-worthy products as well. Her selections will be available at a holiday pop-up shop within Bloomingdale's 59th street store in Manhattan (and online).
The pop-up, called "Happy Together Again," includes food gift boxes with products selected by Giada. The chef says she chose items that reminded her of the small producers whose foods she ate growing up. There are eight cheery white and red boxes to choose from, ranging from a four-ingredient "Festa della Pizza" set ($35) to a $175 "Light & Bright Italiana" box, which contains a copy of Giada's cookbook "Eat Better Feel Better" as well as gluten-free penne, extra virgin olive oil, olives, and other foods to help the recipient ring in a healthy new year (via Bloomingdale's). Personally, we wouldn't mind receiving the Dolce Delight box ($80), which has Italian truffles, Amaretti di Saronno Cookies, candied cherries, and a chocolate hazelnut spread. These sweets look delicious.
Giada offers ideas for parties and gifts
Want to entertain like Giada De Laurentiis or give a gift chosen by the "Everyday Italian" star herself? On the Bloomingdale's website, along with tips for throwing a holiday brunch, cocktail party, dinner party, and a family pajama party, Giada has selected items to make every holiday event memorable. They include a Nespresso Lattissima espresso machine (as of this writing, this item is almost $100 off at $299.00!), a shimmering Smeg Gold-Edition Toaster ($229.95), a Smeg Pasta Roller ($104.99), cozy pajamas and sweaters, serveware, sweet and old-fashioned children's toys and activities, jewelry, accessories, candles, warm slippers, luxurious robes, cookware, self-care products, aromatherapy, and more.
Bloomingdale's isn't the only retailer the savvy De Laurentiis has done a holiday collaboration with. She also created a holiday entertaining guide for Williams-Sonoma with handy tips on planning meals, setting a great table, and selecting the perfect gift for your favorite cook or foodie.
Giada's Bloomingdale's gift guide also has plenty of holiday entertaining advice peppered throughout, such as this simple tip: "The secret to a great party is to always make sure there are plenty of snacks to nibble on in different areas. I also like to have something cooking when guests arrive so the house smells good."
