Keebler's New Cookie Puts A Festive Spin On Its Classic Fudge Stripes
Ah, the wide, wonderful world of grocery store cookies. As much as we love a fresh cookie that's still warm out of the oven, there's just something irresistible about tearing into a bag of Oreos, Tate's, or Milano cookies. And if you, like us, love grocery store cookies, you've most likely enjoyed a Keebler Fudge Stripe in your day. These classic, chocolate-coated shortbread cookies have been a staple in the Keebler lineup for decades — and, to keep the cookies fresh and enticing, the company often rolls out seasonal, limited-time-only flavor variations.
White fudge-coated Pumpkin Spice Fudge Stripes are currently on supermarket shelves, for example, and last fall, kids gobbled up a Maple Crème edition (via tinybeans). This season, Keebler is upping the ante with yet another intriguing and festive Fudge Stripes flavor — and we're willing to bet you're going to want to grab a package of them very soon.
Gingerbread Fudge Stripes are available now
If you love Keebler Fudge Stripes cookies, and you love gingerbread, then you're going to want to take a trip to your local supermarket right now to pick up this special new flavor. In a press release, the company recently announced a fun, holiday-themed edition of its classic cookies: Gingerbread Fudge Stripes. These treats feature a spiced cookie that's topped vanilla fudge stripes (rather than the usual chocolate) and are inspired by the festive gingerbread houses that pop up around the holidays.
"The smell and taste of gingerbread instantly evokes memories of the holiday season, and our new Keebler Gingerbread Fudge Stripes cookies expand the Keebler portfolio with a delicious flavor option for small gatherings, baking, or simply enjoying on their own," Kristin Flood, senior brand manager of seasonal cookies at Ferrara (which manages Keebler) said in the press release.
The cookies are on sale now for the suggested retail price of $3.99 per 9.7-ounce pack. We know we can't wait to dip one into a glass of cold milk or into a mug of hot coffee!
