Trader Joe's Fans Are So Excited For Its New Cinnamon Korean Pancakes
Whether you shop there every day or only occasionally, it's always fun to grab a cart and spin down the aisles of a Trader Joe's. This nationwide chain is beloved by shoppers for many reasons, but prime among them is the frequency with which new products are introduced to stores. Alongside cult classics like cauliflower gnocchi and dark chocolate peanut butter cups, Trader Joe's seems to almost constantly debut new and exciting snacks and meals. Like this summer's vegan "meat" pizza, Mexican corn-style dip, and cheese-stuffed cassava empanadas (via Buzzfeed).
People get so stoked about new offerings at the grocery store that there are actually several Instagram and Facebook accounts that track new and exciting items entering locations. We like to scope out the Instagram account @traderjoeslist every once in a while, since they never seem to fail in updating us on some delicious new thing we simply must eat. And yesterday's post didn't disappoint.
Stuffed Korean pancakes, how can you go wrong?
Instagram account @traderjoeslist, recently shared a photo of an absolutely mind-bogglingly delicious-sounding new dessert (or breakfast) offering: Sweet Cinnamon Filled Korean Pancakes. Available for $3.99 in the store's vast freezer section, the pancakes are described on their packaging as "a chewy-flaky dough with a lusciously gooey cinnamon filling." The Instagrammer noted that the pancakes could be a good alternative to pumpkin-flavored everything, the annual trend that's gearing up as we enter the fall season.
"These pancakes are here to give you a pumpkin break!" the account noted in the post. "They are insanely delicious, especially served with ice cream." Commenters on the post seem pretty pumped to try these pancakes. "I definitely need to try these," one user wrote. "I'm eating them now... with pumpkin butter on top," commented another. Now excuse us while we hop into the car to grab these pancakes, a jar of pumpkin butter, a carton of ice cream, and whatever else strikes our fancy in the wide, wonderful world of Trader Joe's.
