The Condiment Wendy Williams Keeps In Her Purse At All Times
Wendy Williams is red hot right now. Rising to fame as a radio show host, Williams currently stars as the host of the entertainment, celebrity, and pop culture-centric talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show," and is also a best-selling author, stand-up comedian, and executive producer of a documentary about her life (via Wendy Show). Williams is clearly talented. But, it's perhaps her affinity for food and eating habits that are among the most interesting things about her.
Williams loves eating out and often goes big when dining at top restaurants with nontraditional menus selections. "I'll order two entrees, not because I can eat everything, but because I want to try (things liked) oiled squid," she told Cuisine Noir.
According to the outlet, some of Williams' favorite foods include escargot, crepes, jalapeños, and French Food. However, it's often the condiments that make the meal. "To me, there's no pastrami sandwich without Thousand Island dressing, there's no roast beef or tuna without Miracle Whip," she said.
Wendy Williams is fired up about hot sauce
Williams loves many different types of condiments, but there's one condiment she has to have on her at all times and that honor goes to Frank's Red Hot sauce. "I carry my own Frank's Red Hot sauce because there are a lot of places where everything is good, and when it comes to the sauces, they pull out Tabasco sauce. I'm like, 'Are you kidding me?' Frequently, Frank's is the one thing I'll have in my bag," she told the New York Times.
One of Williams' favorite foods to eat with Frank's Red Hot is liver. She describes her preparation methods like a scientist laying out her procedure for an experiment. "What's not to like?" she asked Cuisine Noir. "It's economically priced. Put on a few dollops of liquid smoke. Chop up some onions. Braise it with Frank's Red Hot Sauce on both sides. Let the bottom sit in gravy or barbecue sauce. Good eating," Williams described.
