Wing Boss Just Dropped 2 Hot New Menu Items For Fall

As Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. expands its new Wing Boss virtual restaurant chain nationwide, the company is also expanding the delivery-only service's menu for fall. Wing Boss just introduced two new items, according to a company press release: the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Buffalo Chicken Salad. Wing Boss' signature item may be its pit-smoked wings, but chicken tenders are on the menu, too, and they're used in the new sandwich and salad. And while "Buffalo" is in the name of these new items, you can order the tenders dipped in any of the sauces or rubs your local Wing Boss has available. These may include mild and hot Buffalo, of course, in addition to chili, Cajun, lemon pepper, barbecue, Korean, atomic, and garlic parmesan (via Wing Boss).

In between the buns on the chicken sandwich are some coleslaw and blue cheese crumbles. In the salad, the tenders are served over lettuce, carrots, celery, and blue cheese. The salad comes with blue cheese, ranch, or honey mustard dressing.

Wing Boss' news release announcing its new Buffalo Chicken Salad and Buffalo Chicken Sandwich also tells you what you'll expect to pay when you order these items from the delivery-only chain. The sandwich comes a la carte for $6.50, or $11.50 as part of a combo meal, with fries and a drink included. Some Wing Boss locations may offer veggie sticks as a substitute side in the combo, according to one Dallas-area menu. The salad is $10.50.

Wing Boss had more than just the fall season in mind when it added the sandwich and salad to its menu. "Now that football season has started, we wanted to offer additional menu options for guests who may want a variety of pit-smoked wings and tenders during their watch party or tailgate," Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants CEO Laura Rea Dickey said.

Dickey's launched WIng Boss as a delivery-only restaurant earlier this year, according to a Dickey's press release. Wing Boss has since expanded to 95 locations in 18 states, according to the virtual chain's website. Wing Boss offers Dickey's trademark pit-smoked bone-in or boneless chicken wings with a wide variety of sauces and rubs; chicken tenders; and a number of sides including fries, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, and Texas toast.
