Instagram Can't Stop Talking About This Photo Of Martha Stewart And Pink
After being forced to go virtual due last year due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen has returned to being an in-person event once again. The annual festival kicked off its 38th year on Friday, September 10 in the beautiful mountain town of Aspen, Colorado (via People), and features three days of special dining experiences, wine pairings, and cooking demonstrations by several big players in the culinary world that any foodie would recognize. Per the event's website, talent for this year's event consists of several notable "Top Chef" alums like Kristen Kish and Carla Hall, as well as a number of familiar faces from the Food Network, including Maneet Chauhan and Guy Fieri.
Homemaking queen Martha Stewart made an appearance as well, taking the stage on Friday to demonstrate a few recipes from her upcoming 99th cookbook "Martha Stewart's Fruit Desserts: 100+ Delicious Ways to Savor the Best of Every Season: A Baking Book," which The Aspen Times reports will be released next month. The television personality whipped up three delicious treats, including a Ruffled Pumpkin Milk Pie that was dubbed a "showstopper" by the Aspen Times, but as impressive as the "domestic legend's" presentation was, it's a run-in she had with another major star that is getting social media talking.
Fans are calling this snap of Martha Stewart and Pink a 'power picture'
Celebrity chefs weren't the only stars to show up to this weekend's Food & Wine Classic in Aspen – a couple of rock stars were in attendance as well. Among the many famous faces was singer Pink, whom Martha Stewart happened to have some time to run into during the eventful weekend. "Catching up with the adorable Pink in the Port Cochere of an Aspen Hotel," the 80-year-old captioned a photo of her posing with the "So What" singer that she shared to her Instagram account on Saturday, September 11. Stewart explained that Pink was attending the annual festival to promote her Two Wolves Wine, which Food & Wine reports sold out within a day of being released in 2019. "Good luck Pink," the Emmy-winner added.
It wasn't long before fans began raining praise over Stewart's latest post, which has earned more than 31,000 likes and dozens of comments since going live. "YOU & PINK together!!! Power picture!!" one Instagrammer commented," while another said that both ladies were "bada** women." Considering how much love these "queens" are receiving, we can't help but hope that we'll be seeing some sort of collaboration between them in the future – perhaps even Snoop Dogg can tag along!
