McDonald's Just Brought Back Its Pumpkin Spice Latte. Here's What You Need To Know
McDonald's is a much-loved company that has made its presence felt in different parts of the globe. According to Reader's Digest, the brand's journey began all the way back in 1940 when two brothers, Richard and Maurice McDonald got together to open a BBQ restaurant of their own in California. In a few years, they realized that they excelled at selling items like burgers, shakes, pie, and potato chips. By 1955, the brand had become successful enough to open franchises across the country.
Part of its success is due to the fact that McDonald's doesn't shy away from embracing innovation. Per Investopedia, the company has constantly tried new things over the years, like introducing speciality coffee on its menu that allows customers to purchase affordable beverages. Speaking of innovation, the company is set to reintroduce a beloved seasonal item to its restaurants — the Pumpkin Spice Late. Thankfully for fall fans everywhere, the beverage is going to stay on the menu for awhile.
It's a perfect option for the cooler season
As per McDonald's, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a must-try this season and is "freshly brewed and spiced to perfection with hints of pumpkin and cinnamon flavors." The beverage is a comforting drink that's bound to help you relax and unwind on a stressful day. As per PopSugar, the drink is sweet and filled with the right amount of spices that'll make your tastebuds happy. According to McDonald's, a single serving of the beverage has 240 calories, 7 grams of fat, 36 grams of carbs, and 8 grams of protein.
The drink is currently available at a certain number of McDonald's outlets and is expected to be up for grabs until November. You can choose to have your drink with either regular milk or non-fat milk. It's also a steal, priced at just $2 for a small Pumpkin Spice Latte and some locations are even offering it for just $1.
