Only 16% Of People Say This Starbucks Fall Drink Is Their Favorite

It's no secret that the star of all fall-flavored drinks at Starbucks is the Pumpkin Spice Latte. From the prediction of the date when the coffee chain's highly sought after item will arrive to the actual announcement of the drink's arrival, pumpkin spice season is no joke at Starbucks. In fact, the drink is so beloved that the chain has actually sold more than 500 million cups of it since it first hit the menu in 2003, according to Food and Wine. So it should be no surprise that it turned out to be the favorite fall drink at Starbucks in a recent Mashed poll.

A total of 9,200 people across the globe responded to the poll, and the options included the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Apple Crisp Macchiato, and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Of those three options, some 4,600 people said the Pumpkin Spice Latte was their favorite drink. That's 50% of the vote.

These are the lesser liked fall drinks at Starbucks

Although the Pumpkin Spice Latte may be the favorite fall drink of Starbucks' guests, it isn't the only flavor they like. It's just that far fewer labeled the others as their favorite. Of the other two options, the non-pumpkin flavor actually came in second with a whopping 34% of voters saying their favorite fall drink at Starbucks is the Apple Crisp Macchiato. That means 3,128 people, which makes up more than a third of the voters, love this sweet apple drink that appears during the cooler months of the year.

Ultimately, that means the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is at the bottom of the bunch in terms of favorite fall drinks. Only 16% of people selected it as their favorite. That is just 1,472 people who love the pumpkin-flavored cold brew and far less than a quarter of the vote. Obviously, not just any pumpkin-flavored drink will do for many Starbucks fans.
