A charitable man
Goldman, a practicing Jew, believes in Tzedakah which, according to My Jewish Learning, "connotes giving charitable contributions," but anonymously. Tzedakah is also part of a Jewish person's ethical obligation to perform acts of goodwill (via TV Over Mind).
On his website, Goldman posts a quote from an interview he gave to the Jewish News Syndicate: "I'm a cook who won the lottery. Seeing the effects this has had on everybody makes us want to give back. Every time we give it makes us want to give more."
Goldman posts links to three charitable organizations on his site: No Kid Hungry, a campaign by Share Our Strength that focuses on feeding children and aims to cease childhood hunger; Make a Wish, which grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses; and Save a Child's Heart, which provides heart surgery to children around the world.
Goldman has always been charity-minded, learning to give back to his community as a child by his family. Goldman is a talented baker with a sweet focus on giving back.
