Swiss Miss' New Hot Chocolate Flavor Is Perfect For Fall
Alright, ready to brace yourselves? Because we are, at this very moment, about to drop a few "chilling" words that you probably haven't heard used much in the past couple of months, given summer's heat. Words like "cold weather treats" and "hot chocolate" and "steaming cups thereof." Yeah, we are going to go there, but we can assure you (and we think you will agree) that it is for all the right reasons. You see, Swiss Miss — yes, Swiss Miss, the brand long associated with steaming cups of hot chocolate that cold winter days seem to cry out for, has just released a brand new hot chocolate flavor.
Swiss Miss' new hot chocolate flavor also just happens to be so very perfect for fall, that it just may have you longing for the crunch of autumn leaves under foot, the sight of Halloween costumers at your local CVS or Walgreens, and even the inevitable traffic jams caused by school buses stopping to pick up grade school kids. Here's what we know about Swiss Miss' new offering.
Swiss Miss' new hot chocolate flavor has us dreaming of fall's brisk weather charms
'It is currently about 100 degrees with 90% humidity here in Wisconsin, but I'd still totally drink this because that's how good it looks," wrote Instagram's Three Snackateers of Swiss Miss' new hot chocolate flavor (via Instagram). Pictured above, it's Salted Caramel flavor, and it's so perfect for fall that even as we quaff iced tea and bemoan the seemingly endless bad hair days — hello, frizzies, we're talking about you — we cannot help but fantasize about holding a steaming cup in our hands, delighting in the warm, sweet aroma of what promises to be the hot chocolate equivalent of a classic Cadbury Caramello — sprinkled with sea salt. Oh my.
"For more than 50 years, we've been creating our signature Swiss Miss blend in a real dairy in Menomonie, Wisconsin," according to Swiss Miss' website. And from the comments on Three Snackateers' post — from "I need this, heatwave and all" to "looks extra delicious! Mega fan of sweet and salty over here" — not to mention the post's more than 1,400 likes, it's clear the brand has been paying close attention to what its loyal fanbase really wants. As a result, while we certainly appreciate the hot and languid summer months, we have something so good to look forward to as the air starts to chill, that we are finding ourselves eagerly anticipating enjoying a mug — maybe even with a side of Lays Salted Caramel-flavored chips.
