What Megan Thee Stallion Really Eats In A Day
If you've ever found yourself doing a happy dance after taking a bite of delicious food, you have something in common with rapper and songwriter Megan Thee Stallion. When the star tried her very first Popeyes chicken sandwich, a moment that was captured on livestream, she couldn't help but start dancing on her bed while freestyle rapping about how good the food tasted. Megan Thee Stallion even went as far as to say that if she went vegan, she'd still be eating it.
The superstar's eating habits, however, have significantly changed since she tried that Popeyes chicken sandwich back in 2019. These days, Megan Thee Stallion rarely eats junk food and has purged her entire kitchen of unhealthy options, which means no more Popeyes and no more of her favorite jalapeño kettle chips (via YouTube).
According to Eat This, Not That!, Megan Thee Stallion made the decision to start eating a more balanced diet during the first few months of 2021, documenting her journey in a YouTube vlog series called "Hottie Bootcamp."
"For some reason, the refrigerator has been calling my name more than usual," she explained in the first episode. "I like to snack and I like to eat whatever I want to eat, and I just feel like the things that I've been eating have been not so good for my body."
Megan Thee Stallion gets groceries every two days
During her pre-fame days, Megan Thee Stallion may have been able to go to the grocery store without being bothered, but now she's so recognizable, she has her personal trainer Timothy Boutte do it for her every two days instead. In episode three of "Hottie Bootcamp," Boutte took viewers along for a typical grocery trip, revealing that he stocks the musician's kitchen primarily with fresh produce and lots of avocados.
For breakfast, Boutte makes Megan Thee Stallion a fruit smoothie with strawberries, blackberries, bananas, kale, organic peanut butter, almond milk, and ice. "I fix this for her every morning, before workouts, before her busy day. I like to give her a little pick-me-up, and I call this the hot girl leg smoothie," the trainer shared.
Before lunchtime, the star prepares herself a yogurt parfait. Her go-to toppings, Eat This, Not That! reports, are blueberries, strawberries, and granola. If she'd rather have a salty snack, Boutte says he always keeps sliced almonds around (via YouTube).
For lunch and dinner, Megan Thee Stallion will have veggies with some sort of protein, usually seabass seasoned with paprika or chili powder. "Spices help spike your metabolism," Boutte explains. Throughout the day, as the rapper shared on Instagram, she'll also down an entire gallon of water.
Megan Thee Stallion may be missing her Popeyes chicken sandwiches, but she assures her Instagram followers that she's still living her "best hot girl life."
