Disney Fans Are So Excited For These Boozy New Frozen Treats
When Disney's theme parks had to close temporarily due to COVID-19 restrictions for non-essential businesses, fans were, no doubt, disappointed. So, when Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure parks in the US reopened to visitors on April 30 — for the first time in 14 months (via Conde Nast Traveler) — fans of some of the happiest places on Earth were thrilled. In fact, it would have been understandable if they thought it couldn't get any better than that, but now Disney fans have yet another reason to get amped up about their next trip to the theme parks.
Though, let it be known, we're talking strictly about the adult fans that are of the age to legally consume alcohol. That's because Disney park goers age 21 and over will be able to try some boozy new frozen treats now offered onsite that are as magical as the adventure itself.
These boozy drinks look amazing
For adults 21 and over planning to visit Disneyland and/or Disney's California Adventure theme parks any time soon, here's refreshing news, and it involves ... booze! To be exact, there's three new boozy new frozen treats that Disney fans are very excited to try.
Just in time for National Rum Day on August 16 (via National Day Calendar), the first one is a delicious Dole Whip infused with rum that we can now swoon over thanks to the Instagram account @code_word_disney. Matt and Lee, the self-proclaimed "Disney-loving fun couple" behind the social media account that has nearly 62,000 followers, discovered that there is one place and one place only where one can find this boozy sweet treat: Disneyland Hotel's Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar and Grill. Matt and Lee explain this spot is right outside the West exit of Downtown Disney, just past the big Mickey Sorcerer Hat.
In addition, the Instagram account announced that there are also two new boozy offerings at Disney California Adventure Park that just dropped. One is a "boozed up version of the famous Pixar Pier Frosty Parfait," and it features Blue Curaçao, along with non-dairy lemon soft-serve and a blue raspberry swirl. The other is the Chile-Lime Mango Margarita, which the duo describes as "non-dairy mango soft-serve with tequila, chamoy, chili-lime seasoning, and diced mango.
So, go ahead and indulge — with all those steps you'll be getting in while criss-crossing the park, you'll have earned a treat, or two!
