Nesquik's New Chocolate Caramel Flavor Is Turning Heads
If you've ever wished Starbucks would bring back the Caramel Cocoa Cluster Frappé, you're in for a treat. According to Delish, Nesquik — aka that chocolate milk drink mix you probably haven't had since you were a kid — released a new flavor called Chocolate Caramel Swirl, and you'll definitely want to get your hands on a container if you like anything that's chocolate and caramel flavored.
A spoonful of the mix turns a glass of regular milk into a tasty drink that gives OG chocolate milk a run for its money. According to Instagram account Front Page Food Finds, if you already like classic Nesquik, or any chocolate milk for that matter, it's hard not to fall in love with this new flavor. The caramel is slightly more subtle than the chocolate, which means the result will still taste like chocolate milk, just with a more dynamic flavor that's the perfect balance of the two.
Nesquik's chocolate caramel flavor powder isn't just for those with a sweet tooth
Chocolate milk powders do run the risk of making your milk taste overly rich and sugary, and Nesquik is no exception. Last year they even released a flavor called Hot Fudge Sundae. However, according to the package label shared on Best Products, Nesquik's Chocolate Caramel Swirl is made with real cocoa, and has no artificial flavors, colors, or sweeteners. On the other hand, if you'd rather go the super sweet route, according to one review on Instagram, Chocolate Caramel Swirl is great for milkshakes, too.
Whether you're making a milkshake or having a glass of chocolate milk for breakfast, you might be able to find Chocolate Caramel Swirl powder on the shelves of your local Walmart, though Best Products reports that you'd have a better chance buying it from the Walmart website. At $4.28, you get an 18.5-ounce container of the mix, which makes 35 glasses of chocolate caramel milk. For an entire one-month supply of delicious chocolate caramel milk, we'd say that's a steal.
