Those who join the Friendly's rewards program can get a free medium sundae while those who are already members can get a free medium Fribble on July 18th (via Thrillist).
YourPie plans to give away free scoops of gelato on July 18th when you use the app. Dairy Queen fans who order with the app can take $1 off any dipped cone too.
Clearly, if you are not already a member of your favorite fast-food chains' rewards programs, you are likely missing out. Quite a few brands and places are giving away free ice cream scoops or other frozen treats to celebrate this season. Sperry has partnered with Kennebunkport Inn, The Boathouse Waterfront Hotel, and Sea Love Candles to bring an ice cream truck and their new ice cream-themed shoe collection to Kennebunkport, Maine on July 17th and 18th. From 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. hotel guests and locals can get free ice cream and try on a pair of the new shoes inspired by Good Humor ice cream and Popsicle.
Anyone who shops DoorDash's Ice Cream Shop can use the code "ICECREAM" on orders of $20 or more to get a free pint of ice cream.
