What You Need To Know About Taco Bell's 'New' Grande Crunchwrap
When Taco Bell makes an announcement, fans everywhere get excited. And this latest announcement is one for the books — Taco Bell is officially bringing back its Triple Double Crunchwrap. However, the new menu item is also getting a new name. It will now be called the Grande Crunchwrap. This fan-favorite first hit the menu in 2016, as Brand Eating notes, and has made return appearances through the years.
Taco Bell explains that this new Crunchwrap has double the layers and twice the protein of the Classic Crunchwrap Supreme, making it the perfect treat for those days when you're more than just a little hungry. There's one catch here, though: The Grande Crunchwrap will only be offered on the Taco Bell menu for a limited time, so you have to strike while the iron is hot. It will be available solo, but will also come as part of a Taco Bell Grande Cruchwrap meal, too.
So, what's actually in it?
You may be wondering why the Grande Crunchwrap is so special. Well, listen to what this baby is filled with: Two layers of seasoned beef, nacho cheese, and crunchy tostada shell. And, there is more. This Taco Bell treat also has lettuce, reduced-fat sour cream, and tomatoes to round out the flavor profile. From there, it's wrapped up in a flour tortilla and grilled, Brand Eating says.
Want to make it your own? Taco Bell offers lots of additional sides, too. These include jalapeño peppers, black beans, refried beans, seasoned rice, onions, and even extra cheese. And, if you want to make it really your own, you can switch out your ground beef for a steak or chicken upgrade.
Without all of the fancy customizations, the Grande Crunchwrap has a suggested price of $3.99 and the meal, which includes a large drink, has a suggested price of $5.
