This Is What Happens If You See Guy Fieri In A Grocery Store
There are two types of people: those who loathe grocery shopping and Guy Fieri. Yeah, it's kind of like that. According to SWNS Digital, household chores are the worst and of those that we like the least, grocery shopping ranks No. 5, right after everyone's other favorites, vacuuming and sweeping. But Fieri, host of Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives," or "Triple D," as it is often called, shared that he loves going to the market. He said, "Going to the grocery store is one of my favorite things to do. I love to look at food, I love to look at new foods. I love to look at fresh foods. The more fresh foods, the better." Maybe that feeds into why 87.5% of people actually like to go to the grocery store to do their shopping instead of filling an online basket and having them delivered, per FoodNavigator-USA.com.
Still, when you have hit celebrity status and you can pay someone else to keep track and make lists of what needs to be in your refrigerator and pantry, so then they can actually brave the grocery store aisles and lines, wouldn't you? Again, not Fieri. He has a real passion for every aspect of the cooking process. So, what does he do when all those adoring fans see him in the store? And are you allowed to ask him about bacon rule or take a selfie?
Feel free to talk to Guy Fieri
Do not be intimidated by the spiky, bleached hair, tattoos, and signature sunglasses, because Guy Fieri is a really nice guy. Believe it or not, he is very approachable in the grocery store. And he anticipates if fans see him squeezing tomatoes or sniffing the produce, they will want to talk. He told Food Network, "Where will you find bees? At a beehive. Where will you find Food Network fans? At the grocery store." And Fieri revealed he does not do anything to try and dissuade fans from asking. Fieri revealed, "So, I don't really wear any disguise. I just account for an extra 45 minutes when I go to the store, because I answer more questions and talk about more recipes, but I also love it."
Even when Fieri is in the middle of an interview, he takes time for his fans. Per Delish, during a sit down interview on the terrace of the Loews Hotel in Miami, two young boys politely interrupted and asked for a selfie. Fieri was all too ready to oblige and even imparted a few words of wisdom as they ran back to their parents yelling, "Always take the initiative! Be those guys who are in the moment, ready to go after what they want." So, if you see Fieri at the grocery store and want to ask him about a weird looking fruit or kibitz over the best bacon for his Mac Daddy Mac 'n' Cheese, go for it.
