Chili's Just Entered The Chicken Sandwich Wars With This Limited Menu Item
As a brand, Chili's focuses on the fact that it always likes to think about its diners and the food experience they're getting. A description on the brand's website reads, "We're in the business of making people feel special. In everything we do, we have to ask ourselves if we're putting the guest first and making sure they'll come back for more."
According to Mental Floss, since its inception in 1975, Chili's has grown by leaps and bounds. It has thousands of outlets across the country and has an established presence in the restaurant industry. The Tex-Mex chain has plenty of delicious offerings available for its customers such as nachos, burgers, tacos, quesadillas, and more (via Odyssey).
Chili's is also not afraid of stepping up its game and experimenting with new menu items when required to match its customers' preferences. Take its latest offering: its own version of the classic chicken sandwich. As reported by Yahoo!, it has just launched the Chili's Chicken Sandwich that it claims is "ready to put all other chicken sandwiches to shame."
The sandwich seems promising
If you've ever sunk your teeth into a hearty chicken sandwich loaded with your favorite toppings and add-ons, you know that it's hard to beat in terms of fast food. Well, Chili's, like many other fast food and casual dining restaurants, has decided to take the chicken sandwich wars seriously and introduced its version of the chicken sandwich complete with a "secret sauce" and a fancy brioche bun.
Customers also get to feast on fries with the sandwich that has other ingredients like lettuce and tomatoes. "We didn't want to create just another chicken sandwich. We're all about food perfection and wanted to create the best chicken sandwich and that takes time," says a statement from the brand (via Yahoo!). In order to make sure that it was doing everything right, Chili's tested the new menu item for almost a year before launching it.
If you're excited to try this dish, remember that it won't be sticking around for long. Chili's Chicken Sandwich will be in its outlets across the U.S. until June 30.
