Shake Shack Is Bringing Back Its Seasonal Pride Shake. Here's What You Need To Know
Shake Shack made waves when it rolled out the sweet Pride Shake for fans back in 2018 (via Brand Eating). The shake, celebrating June as the month of LGBTQ+ pride, featured a strawberry shake blended with lemonade and topped with whipped cream and rainbow sprinkles. Years later, this crowd favorite continues to make its appearances in honor of June and comes with a special flavor makeover.
According to a press release sent to Mashed, Shake Shack plans to bring back this frosty beverage from June 1 until June 30 in honor of Pride Month and has some new flavors in store for diners. This year's Pride Shake now features a blend of strawberry and blackberry custard that's topped with a mango-passion fruit blend, whipped cream, and rainbow glitter. Each shake has a price tag of $6.29 and comes in a Pride cup that sports a rainbow Shake Shack logo. If the upgraded look and tastes can't get you buying this specialty item, the charity a portion of its profits supports can easily get you excited to try out this sweet treat.
A frosty shake for a good cause
According to QSR Magazine, the limited-time Pride Shake makes its appearance across all Shake Shack locations and 5% of sales go towards The Trevor Project. According to the press release, a minimum amount of $50,000 collected through the sales of these shakes will help this charity, which operates as the world's largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention group that services the LGBTQ+ community. With a shake that tastes this good and goes towards a very worthy cause, make sure to take advantage of this dessert while you can!
If a tall, frosty shake sounds like the perfect way to beat the heat, make sure to visit your local Shake Shack starting on June 1 to try out the revamped flavors for this upcoming Pride. Just make sure to get a move on this Shake Shack menu item while you can. The drink only lasts for one month, and once it's gone, you can't indulge in one of these treats until at least next year.
