Dunkin's Newest Collab Is Not Safe To Eat
With everyone staying in and working from home this past year, many people have changed up their daily rituals, including stopping into their favorite coffee shop for their morning caffeine fix. Many people are starting to miss their morning coffee run, which is why Dunkin' just launched a new collaboration that will bring Dunkin' to their customers, wherever they are. However, it's not coffee they'll be bringing. It's not even something safe to consume.
The coffee chain has just announced they are partnering with Backdrop, an online paint retailer, to release a collection of limited-edition interior paint colors to make any room in your home feel like your favorite Dunkin, per Food & Wine.
"Our fans have absolutely loved the fresh new ways we've helped them show their Dunkin' passion and pride over the years. With home improvements on the rise this year, we're thrilled to team up with Backdrop to give Dunkin' devotees the opportunity to really bring home their love for our brand with a fresh coat of paint for the ultimate home décor," Jamie Kelly, associate manager of strategic partnerships at Dunkin', said in a statement sent to Mashed.
Dunkin's signature paint colors will be available online
The collection features two highly pigmented colors: the bright Dunkin' Pink, and the bold Dunkin Orange, which match the iconic orange and pink that you see at every Dunkin' location, according to Backdrop. A half gallon of the bold colors will run you $39 apiece, and they will be available for purchase exclusively online at Backdrop's website. This collaboration marks two notable firsts for both companies: the paint retailer has never before offered half-gallon sizes, which will be sold in recyclable, stainless steel cans, while this marks Dunkin's first ever foray into interior design.
"Dunkin' is an iconic American brand and we couldn't be more thrilled to launch their first paint colors. The sensorial overlap between donuts and icing and sprinkles and paint, combined with Dunkin's vibrant brand colors make for the perfect collaboration," Backdrop co-founder Natalie Ebel said of the partnership. "We hope brand fans have just as much fun bringing these colors to life in their homes as we did creating them."
Backdrop's website is quick to mention these paint colors are limited edition, so stock up while you can.
