Everything You Need To Know About Truly's Boozy New Ice Pops
The popular hard seltzer brand Truly is introducing a sweet new way to imbibe this summer. The company has just announced that, in addition to their refreshing seltzers and, according to People, alcohol-infused ice creams, they will now be selling boozy lemonade ice pops. These frozen treats will bring back sweet memories of cooling off on a warm summer day with a refreshing frozen fruit pop, but with an adult twist. Each pop still packs 5% alcohol by volume, but the best part is, they are only 80 calories per pop, according to Delish, making them just about as boozy as a can of hard seltzer without the extra calories.
As People reports, the new pops will be sold in variety packs of 12, and will be available in three sweet summery flavors: Strawberry Lemonade, Mango Lemonade, and Original Lemonade. They contain all of the offerings in their popular hard seltzer Truly Lemonade Variety Pack except one, black cherry. These sweet, boozy snacks are scheduled to hit store shelves by the end of June, and will be available through the summer months.
Truly's new boozy lemonade ice pops will be available in 22 states and online
The bad news is that as of this writing, these boozy new pops are only available in 22 states. Residents of California, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Arkansas, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Virginia, and New York will be able to find the hard ice pops in stores this summer. But if you don't live in one of those states, don't despair. According to Delish, some online alcohol delivery sites, such as Drizy, may still be able to deliver the boozy ice pop treats to your home.
So if you're looking for a fun and festive treat to kick off a summer party, or just want a sweet new way to relax by the beach, then Truly's new fruity ice pops won't disappoint. If you're an adult who lives in one of the states listed above — or you have a Drizly account — you won't want to pass up the chance to give this boozy new summer treat a try.
