This Is The Worst Pizza Chain, According To 27% Of People
It's Friday night and you and your friends have decided to order pizza. The only problem? No one can agree on where to order from. Everyone has their own opinion on what the best pizza chain is — in the world of pies, it's almost as divisive a topic as New York-style vs. Chicago deep dish. There are people who love Domino's, with its familiar red and blue logo. Then there are people who love Papa John's, with its trademark garlic sauce for dipping. And of course, there are people who love Pizza Hut, with its cheese stuffed crust.
Not only does everyone have a favorite pizza place, they also probably have a least favorite pizza place. Of all the big chains out there, which one serves up the worst pie? According to a Mashed poll, which surveyed over 600 people, there's one pizza joint that over a quarter of respondents agree is the "absolute worst."
Little Caesars is not a crowd-pleaser
Apparently, Little Caesars doesn't deliver (pun intended) when it comes to pizza. Over 27 percent of people who took the poll dubbed it the worst pie you can get. At just $5, Little Caesar's pizza is certainly budget-friendly, but according to our results, it may be worth paying a little more for something better. One reason why the pizza is so cheap is because it uses cheap ingredients, which is a literal recipe for disaster.
Where did the other major pizza players fall in the survey results? Papa John's was the second most-hated pizza chain, with 17 percent of the votes, followed by Pizza Hut with 15 percent. Close behind was Hungry Howie's, with 14 percent, and Domino's with 13 percent. Papa Murphy's fared the best of all the chains, with just 8 percent of people choosing it as their least favorite, and the "other" category came in last, with just 4 percent of respondents' votes. Write-ins for "other" included CiCi's and Marco's Pizza.
