Pi Day 2021: Where To Get The Best Food Freebies & Deals
March is swiftly moving forward, and as the middle of the month approaches, that means one thing. Pi Day, March 14th, is nearly upon you. While you might enjoy spending the day creating some of the creative and impressive pies from Lauren Ko's Pieometry pie cookbook, there are tons of deals for those who'd rather take the easy way out. Or perhaps you can order out for dinner and focus your attention on making dessert in your own kitchen. Either way, it's certainly going to be a delicious Pi Day no matter how you celebrate.
The deals that are available this year go far beyond dessert pies. According to a poll received by Mashed and conducted by Hormel Pepperoni and Harris Poll, 87 percent of people, (nearly nine out of 10 Americans), say that pizza never gets old as a meal. Fortunately, many Pi Day deals include pizza. However, you'll also find soup, drinks, and more on the list for 2021.
There are some unusual Pi Day deals
Odd but good is never bad. There are two companies celebrating alongside their more traditional, circular Pi Day foods. According to a press release received by Mashed, Potbelly Sandwich Shop is randomly selecting 314 Perks loyalty members to receive their chicken pot pie soup. It's a different take on pie, but loyalty members who are chosen will see "free cup of chicken pot pie soup" loaded to their account and can redeem it between March 13th and 14th. If you are not currently a member, it isn't too late to join and potentially win.
Aperol Spritz is joining the fun as an accompaniment to any homemade (or ordered) pizzas you might be enjoying this March 14th. Between March 7th and 14th, customers can get $3.14 off of an Aperol Spritz kit which includes Aperol glassware. Just head to Reserve Bar's website and use code APEROLSPRITZ to get the deal and enjoy the cocktail at home with your pizza pie.
To top it off, Aperol will also be donating $31,415 to Another Round, Another Rally, which is a non-profit supporting the hospitality industry. For every social media post that uses #AperolLovesPizza and tags @AperolUSA, an additional donation of $3.14 will be made too. Someone who participates will even get a shout out from actress Zoey Deutch too.
Pi Day pizza deals
According to a press release received by Mashed, 7-Eleven is participating in Pi Day for the third year in a row. Customers can get an entire large pizza (cheese, pepperoni, or extreme meat) for just $3.14 on March 14th. Get it through the app and have it ready for delivery or to pick up. 7-Eleven will also be donating one meal to Feeding America for every pizza sold on Pi Day.
Hip2Save has also pointed out some great deals. For example, Pilot Flying J will have $10 extra-large pizzas from March 12 to 14. Cici's will offer a deal on two large one-topping pizzas through March 28. Through the 28th, each pizza is just $5.99 with a coupon.
Your Pie rewards members can also get $3.14 off any 10-inch pizza between March 14th and 16th. The offer will be available both in Your Pie stores and online. Finally, Blaze Pizza is allowing customers to add premium toppings and offering pizzas for $3.14 between Pi Day and April 12th. The deal will show up on the rewards app, but anyone who signs up before March 14th can take advantage of the deal both in stores and online.
Give Pi Day a sweet ending

According to a press release received by Mashed, Goldbelly will also be offering deals on pie this March 14th. Select pies will be up to 30 percent off, including The Blue Owl's Levee High Caramel Pecan Apple Pie, which was named one of Oprah's Favorite Things.
