Good News For Fans Of Guy Fieri's Flavortown Kitchen
Guy Fieri's new Flavortown Kitchen is the right kind of restaurant for ever-changing pandemic dining — and it just got better. Available via app in 30 states, plus the District of Columbia, this innovative dining approach is like the nationwide food delivery we didn't know we needed. Based on the ongoing move to dining in, Fieri's new approach is a fantastic way to help keep restaurant employees working and families happy and fed with an innovative app-based chain launch across the US. And starting March 7, new users can also get a free month of Discovery+ (via Twitter). But back to that in a minute.
First you'll need to check out the Flavortown Kitchen app. If you've downloaded UberEats or GrubHub, this will be a similar process. Users suggest checking your location before you start checking the menu. While you can now order Guy Fieri's food delivery from coast to coast, it's still missing about 20 states as of publication, and we'd imagine some towns in provided areas also don't get service yet.
As of right now, you can order your favorites, like Bourbon Brown Sugar Wings or Jalapeño Pig Poppers, and you'll get a small flyer with a promo code for a free month of Discovery+ when your food arrives. This offer is good until March 21, 2021, according to Twitter.
A flavorful TV partnership
Launched in January of 2021, Discovery+ includes HGTV, Food Network, TLC, and Animal Planet as part of a 14-channel package, plus exclusive originals and the namesake brand programming (via Business Insider). Plans range from $5 to $7 a month and can be accessed through popular devices like Samsung smart TVs, Xbox, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV.
Fieri, of course, favors the Food Network and he teased more behind-the-scenes content from the second season of Tournament of Champions. Said the Flavortown boss himself on Twitter, "Grab some dinner & use that free month of @FoodNetwork content to check out the season premiere of #TournamentofChampions tonight!"
We imagine these flavor-filled episodes will pair nicely with some Cheesesteak Egg Rolls for two or a Bacon Mac 'n' Cheeseburger. Personally, we can't think of a more fun way to watch food television than to get to eat those dishes too — so we're all on board for this interactive experience. We'll also add that Fieri has gone above and beyond for restaurant workers during the pandemic, so supporting his new effort just feels good.
