What Chopped Winner Emily Chapman Is Up To Now
Reality TV can be a great escape, especially if you get a chance to admire delicious-looking food while you're at it. One of the most popular cooking shows on the Food Network, Chopped, has managed to enthrall audiences for years and is still going strong with over 45 seasons (via Insider). Plus, a lot of hard work goes on behind the scenes — it can take as long as 12 hours to finish shooting for just one episode and contestants are required to be resilient through it all, even staying hungry at times.
Of course, being a part of a show like Chopped is a brilliant platform for budding chefs to make a name for themselves in the industry and get exposed to several rewarding opportunities. One of the winners from the show, Emily Chapman, knows what it's like to make a splash on the show. The talented chef won season 21's episode titled, "Money Saver," and has been doing rather well for herself ever since (via Pop Sugar). Here's what she is up to now.
Emily Chapman has kept busy since her time on Chopped
As explained by Pop Sugar, Chapman is now holding down a rather prestigious position: she's an executive chef at Haymaker Bar and Kitchen in New York. She has also worked as a head chef at Reap and Sow Supper Club. As per Chefs Feed, one of Chapman's greatest strengths is the fact that she is a fan of experimenting with a plethora of ingredients when she's preparing a dish. Plus, she's a versatile artist and shines in various settings such as private parties as well as farmers markets.
These days, the chef is busy with her family and is also making sure that she focuses on her work, sharing updates with her fans whenever she can. Her content is highly relatable. For example, Chapman recently posted an Instagram photo of a delicious-looking stew and wrote, "It was a crappy day and everyone wanted something new...so I made a classic kimchi stew for the gang! I normally don't brag... but this was baller."
