Also, it's likely that you won't restrict yourself to a small serving (3/4 of a cup) as you devour a bowl of milk and cereal. It's just not possible. Not only that, but according to Spoon University, this cereal offers very little nutritional value, which means that it has negligible amounts of protein and fiber.
As pointed out by Harvard, too much sugar isn't good for you. Excessive sugar consumption has been linked to obesity and heart ailments. According to The American Heart Association, women should restrict themselves to 24 grams of sugar in a day, while men should have no more than 36 grams.
