Costco Shoppers Are Psyched About These Giant Bags Of Gluten-Free Mini Cookies
It can be difficult for people with dietary restrictions to find healthy gluten-free, low carb, or keto-friendly options in stores, and many processed foods have loads of added sugar (via Medical News Today). However, the snack food company HighKey wants to change all that. Per HighKey's website, it is "committed to changing the way America eats by removing sugar from our favorite foods: one craving at a time," and the company's gluten-free, keto-friendly mini cookies may well live up to those standards.
The company is pursuing its mission with help from Costco, which is now selling a 12-ounce bag of these guilt-free chocolate chip cookies for just $12.99 at select Costco locations. And if you are not near one of the participating warehouses, never fear. The deal is also available at Costco.com, where customers can purchase the 12-ounce bag or two of them for $34.99 (via Instagram).
The popular Instagram account @costcobuys raved about the new find on Instagram, posting, "I'm obsessed with @HighKeySnacks mini chocolate chip cookies, available NOW in select WA, OR, AK, ID Costco locations and on Costco.com as a 2-pack! This jumbo 12oz bag is way bigger than their standard pouches...gotta love buying in bulk and saving at Costco! These delicious mini cookies have no added sugar, are low-carb (1g net carb per serving), gluten-free, grain-free, and keto certified! Best of all, these cookies are GOOD!"

Many of the Instagrammer's followers were equally delighted to hear these healthy treats were now available at Costco. "These are SO good! I'll be stocking up," user @walmartgems replied. Instagram user @iammollynan joked, "But..... how are you supposed to not eat the whole bag in one sitting..... asking for a friend."
The good news is, the keto-friendly company aims to "make HighKey delicious versions of your favorite foods that taste as good as the original, minus the guilt" (via HighKey). So even if you do eat the whole bag, you'll still be consuming less sugar and carbs than you would with most traditional desserts.
One serving, about 7 mini cookies, contains just 130 calories, 3 grams of protein, 2 grams of fiber, and no added sugar. So if you're on a strict diet, trying to reduce your carb intake, or simply want to snack a little healthier, you might want to consider heading to your nearest Costco or visit the website to give these mini treats a try.
