These Citrus Scented Candles From Aldi Have Fans Excited
This winter between the pandemic and the cold weather, many of us are going to be spending more time than ever inside our homes. If you're going to be inside all day, you may as well make the space as welcoming as possible. And thanks to Aldi, you can make sure your home smells as nice as possible. The grocery chain just released new citrus scented candles that are generating some serious buzz.
Instagrammer aldi.mademedoit recently posted about the candles and wrote, "I love when candles come out!!! This week I grabbed the lemon macaron it smelled like lemon pound cake!!!" The Lemon Macaron candle is the clear favorite of the bunch, with fellow Aldi fans commenting, "Team lemon" and "I looooove lemon candles!!"
The other two scents appear to be a little more controversial. Instagram aldi.mademedoit continued in their post, "I think I'm going crazy because I swear the hibiscus and grapefruit smelled like bud light or coors (yes the beer)," and another commenter added, "I thought the same thing!"
Here's why fans are loving these new Aldi candles
Another positive about these pretty looking candles, is they only cost $4.99, per Instagrammer aldi.candle.love. Each candle also has three wicks and weighs 11 ounces, which means you can have your house smelling amazing for days. And not only does it smell nice, the candles also come in decorative embossed tins, making them a treat for both your nose and your eyes. The candle fan page describes the varieties as "Orchid & Jasmine (fresh floral), Lemon Macaron (gourmand), and Hibiscus & Grapefruit (fresh fruity)." Who doesn't want their place to smell like a beautiful flower garden?
On another Instagram post by aldi.candle.love, more fans weighed in on these Huntington Home citrus candles.
