Bravo's New Real Housewives Wine Has Everyone Talking
In a move that seems long, long overdue, Bravo has just announced a line of Real Housewives wine that will pair perfectly with your next Housewives binge watch (per Delish). With the amount of wine that has been sipped, chugged, and thrown in housewives' faces on the show, it's about time Bravo got in on the action. The network teamed up with Washington state-based Nocking Point Wines to develop three cheers-worthy varietals — a red, a white, and a rosé — all in honor of the latest addition to The Real Housewives franchise: The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Maria Laino DeLuca, Senior Vice President of Consumer and Social Marketing for Bravo and Universal Kids, said in a statement (via Bravo), "We are excited to partner with Nocking Point for this special limited edition collaboration that will allow Bravo superfans to immerse themselves in the Bravo universe, engaging with us both on-screen and off." And fans are ready to do just that. When the announcement went up on Bravo's Instagram, Housewives devotees couldn't hit their like buttons fast enough. User @churchofbravo commented, "My body is ready," while another follower said, "Like a fine wine, Housewives just age better with time." The first episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City airs on Nov. 11 which means you'll want to order your Real Housewives-themed wine ASAP if you want to sip along with the premier.
What to know about the new Real Housewives wine
Much like an episode of The Real Housewives, Bravo's new wine has a little something for everyone. According to the Nocking Point Wines website, the collection features a Real HouseRed, which is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah that brings notes of plum, huckleberry, and high-cacao chocolate, and a Real HouseWhite that is a light, floral-tasting Sauvignon Blanc with notes of passionfruit and oyster shell. No Real Housewives wine collection would be complete without a Real HouseRosé and this one promises to be deliciously crisp with notes of fresh mountain strawberries.
The bottles are available in sets of two, three, six, or 12; pricing starts at $52 for two bottles of The Real HouseRed and $48 for two bottles of The Real HouseWhite or The Real HouseRosé. A half-case collection comes with two bottles of each wine for $148. In all, The Real Housewives and this yummy-sounding wine collection seems like match made in reality TV heaven that we are 100 percent here for.
