The Best-Selling Menu Item At Arby's Won't Surprise You
Arby's is a name that's synonymous with delicious sandwiches that don't take too much time to be served and are a quick fix on a particularly long day. According to the official Arby's website, the restaurant was opened in 1964 in a bid to allow fast-food customers to feast on something other than the most prominent option that was widely available in those times: Burgers.
The chain of restaurants grew rapidly over the years, allowing its patrons to choose from several options that appealed to them. Take their take on chicken, for example. In 2004, the brand introduced its Prime-Cut Chicken, a well-seasoned, crispy offering for all chicken lovers. A description on the website reads, "In a world of chicken nuggets, we decided to serve hand-cut breast meat." Arby's also decided to reach out to its health-conscious customers early on and added healthier options – including crunchy salads and irresistible sandwiches under 300 calories in 1991. When it comes to the most popular order at Arby's, the winner won't surprise anyone, to be honest.
The Classic Roast Beef Sandwich is the winner
Well, the honor of best-seller belongs to the Classic Roast Beef Sandwich that Arby's is most well-known for. One of the restaurant's reps confirmed in an email to Eat This, Not That! that the sandwich is a top pick for most loyalists at the restaurant. And for good reason. The Classic Roast Beef Sandwich is a delight with marinated roast beef and a toasted bun.
As Arby's puts it, "This is the sandwich that put roast beef on the map. Our classic roast beef is thinly sliced and piled on a toasted sesame seed bun. Try it with our delicious Arby's Sauce, or for an extra kick go with the zesty Horsey Sauce." A Reddit user had a unique recommendation to combine both the sauces for a surreal experience. "I haven't started doing this until recently but it transforms the roast beef sandwich and makes it taste like delectable prime rib," they wrote. Who's hungry?
