Chick-Fil-A Has Sad News For Mango Lemonade And Peach Milkshake Fans
Chick-fil-A is not wasting any time closing the door on summer. Out with the old and in with the new, as they say. A Little Rock, Arkansas-based Chick-fil-A posted to social media that they were selling the remainder of their summer drinks until supplies ran out. The store's Instagram page states: "Summer is officially over and we are having to say goodbye to our Seasonal favorites. Stop by this week to grab a Mango Passion Tea Lemonade & Peach Milkshake."
We get it — these are seasonal beverages, but can't we enjoy summer, and mango and peach, a little bit longer? The official end of summer is not until September 22, after all. But to be fair, both drinks were released on June 29, and were scheduled to be available through the summer. Um, how about 10 more days though...please!
What's in Chick-fil-A summer drinks and why can't we keep them?
The classic seasonal peach milkshake has been around since the late 2000s. It's a fan favorite, blending Chick-fil-A's popular Icedream with yummy Georgia peaches. The seasonal Mango Passion Tea Lemonade, which debuted this summer, combines Chick-fil-A's unsweetened iced tea, lemonade, and a mango syrup (a blend of mango and passionfruit natural flavors), according to the company.
Both beverages are only around in the summer because the team at Chick-fil-A says they want to serve real ingredients when they're at their peak of freshness (via Chick-fil-A). It makes sense. Plus, if the chicken chain kept every item on the menu all year, there wouldn't be room for other seasonal items to come along. You know where we are going with this. Dry your tears and get ready for the next seasonal treat headed your way from Chick-fil-A. Two items will hit your favorite drive-thru window on September 14, according to Delish: A chocolate fudge brownie and Mocha Cream cold brew! Feel any better?
