This Nugget Hack Will Change The Way You Order Chick-Fil-A Forever
Did you know that your feelings about spicy food can offer some insight into your personality? A study found that if you like when your mouth feels like it has been set ablaze by the fiery, piquant flavor of Sriracha, you probably have a flair for adventure, action movies — hello John Wick — and travel (via Treehugger). You are probably also more likely to want to know about a Chick-fil-A nugget hack that will make your tongue do the cha-cha.
Leave it to the number one fast food chain in the United States (for the fourth year straight year, but who's counting, via USA Today) to continue to find ways to woo and impress the Chick-fil-A intelligentsia with a new, but simple way to bring hot passion to their already favorite chicken. And while we would not classify this hack as part of the secret menu trend because Chick-fil-A shares it on their restaurant blog, we would say that if you are a loyal Chick-fil-A eater with a flair for heat, this one is definitely for you.
Chick-fil-A brings the heat with this hack
Chick-fil-A has created a hack that will set off a firework of flavors in your mouth the next time you order up their chicken nuggets or chicken strips (via The Chicken Wire). And guess what, it won't set you back any more than what you would normally pay. It's a little more sophisticated than your basic chicken nuggets you pretend to order for the kid you don't have. In fact, you might even feel like a grown-up putting this hack to work.
This trick comes straight from a member of the restaurant's menu development team, Leslie Neglase. To set your taste buds on fire, Neglase offers detailed instructions in a blog post. To kick things off, you're going to need a box of your favorite chicken nuggets or strips and some of their Zesty Buffalo hot sauce or some of your own Sriracha sauce. Either works. It's really a matter for your taste buds to decide.
But whichever sauce you choose, pour it directly into the box. Close it up tightly and shake it like a Polaroid picture. It's a little messy, but that's okay — all good things are. You can eat these saucy nuggets on their own or toss them into a Chick-fil-A side salad or their Southwest salad to add a fiery burst for your palate. If you aren't the adventurous type who needs some heat, don't feel sidelined. You can also do this hack with some of their sweet and savory sauces.
