Duff Goldman Just Shared Exciting News With Fans
This might be the sweetest thing to come from Duff Goldman yet. He and his wife, Johnna Colbry, are expecting their first child! The Food Network star posted a hint on his Instagram on Friday — a photo of him and Colbry each holding a muffin in one hand and the two holding up a single mini muffin in the other, conspicuously placed in front of Colbry's belly. His caption simply read, "MUFFINS!" Colbry helped fans out with a little more info on her Instagram, immediately posting the same picture with the caption, "Our biggest adventure yet! Mini Muffin expected January 2021!"
Goldman, 45, and Colbry, 26, were married in January 2019 at the Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles (via People). The museum's exhibits were open to the wedding guests and the celebration even featured a petting zoo with farm animals, according to Martha Stewart. The couple had dated for nearly three years before they were wed under the T-Rex exhibit in front of 250 of their closest friends.
Duff Goldman and Johnna Colbry's love story is a sweet one
The Buddy vs Duff chef proposed to Colbry in April 2018 after a moment of clarity in the shower one morning. He told People, "It was really weird. I was in the shower, I was shaving my head and it felt like a punch to my heart. It was just like, 'Boom! You're incredibly in love with this girl, you need to marry her,'" The moment was so spontaneous, Goldman didn't have a ring to present to Colbry. Using his chef instincts, Goldman grabbed the next best thing: a piece of butcher's twine. He posted the momentous occasion to social media with a picture of the two holding hands, showing off the piece of twine around Johnna's ring finger.
Goldman captioned the post "...I asked her to marry me. She said yes. I cannot imagine a state of happiness that is more intense than whatever I'm feeling right now. My heart just might burst. I love you muffin. I love every scar. I love the way you smell. I'm sorry I didn't have a real ring. I hope you don't mind butcher's twine, I am a chef, after all." Less than a year later, the pair were married and taking adorable wedding photos under the hulking, open-mouthed dinosaur skeletons in the T-Rex exhibit. This couple's relationship seems to be full of sweet spontaneity and fun. With their new addition, now there's even more sweetness on the way.
