Super Bowl 2020: Where To Get Free Food On Super Bowl Sunday

The wait is almost over. That's right, Super Bowl LIV is nearly here, and whether the Kansas City Chiefs or the San Francisco 49ers emerge victoriously is secondary — everyone knows that the real highlight of Sunday is going to be the food. It's barely been a month since the holidays came to a close, and already Americans are ready to feast again, trading in turkey and ham for hot wings and hoagies. So maybe all that Super Bowl feasting will throw off your New Year's diet goals, but c'mon, Super Bowl LIV only happens once!

Perhaps you've been busy all week constructing your own edible version of Miami's Hard Rock Stadium out of mini hot dogs and pretzels. If that's the case, then kudos to you. Now for everybody else out there, now's the time when you need to start thinking about where you're going to look for your Super Bowl spread.

Thankfully, there are some pretty sweet — and even free — deals out there to be intercepted.

The Super Bowl 2020 chicken deals that aren't to be missed

From wings to tenders, there are a host of fantastic chicken deals to be nabbed on Super Bowl Sunday

O'Charley's: For $25, fans get eight chicken tenders, 10 loaded potato skins, and 12 spicy jack cheese wedges, plus an assortment of dipping sauces (via FSR Magazine). A baby back ribs platter for $40 is also up for grabs as well as a chicken fingers platter of 24 chicken fingers for just $25 — dipping sauces included.

Hooters: If you find yourself sitting at Hooters watching the game and it goes into overtime, then guess what? You and every other person in the place just scored six free wings — any style, no questions asked (via Radio.com).

Wingzone: You can be the chicken wing hero of your Super Bowl party when you order online and use the promo code 2173. This deal nabs you 30 boneless wings and 30 regular wings, plus four dipping sauces for just $55. Sounds like a touchdown to us.

Applebee's: The casual dining chain is doing its best to make sure fans will be "eatin' good in the neighborhood" across America on Sunday. Order online or through the Applebee's app and use the code FREEWINGS to score 40 free wings with a delivery order of $40 or more (via Today).

Buffalo Wild Wings: As Business Insider reports, if the game goes into OT, all Buffalo Wild Wings locations will give each customer a free order of wings. The wings can be redeemed on February 17 between 4 and 7 PM.

Sonny's BBQ: Take note, BBQ fans in the Southeast, Sonny's is offering up a Grab & Go kit for just $22. Each kit comes with the option of 12 pulled pork sliders or 25 smoked chicken wings. If you find yourself living in a house divided, then you can get both deals for just $40. Just make sure you place your order 48 hours before February 2. So, like now!

PDQ: PDQ has some of the best fast food chicken around and you can nab yourself 25 or 50 free tenders on game day! The deal is only valid for pickup orders, but if you order a 25-count or 50-count chicken tender platter on February 1 or 2, you get one free (via Food & Wine).

Grab a slice of these game day pizza deals on Super Bowl Sunday

Pizza is pretty much a requirement of Super Bowl parties, and fans will have their choice of great pizza deals to take advantage of on game day.

Pizza Hut: Pizza Hut is the official sponsor of the NFL, and they'll be showing some major pizza love on Sunday by giving out 30,000 free slices. Unfortunately, you have to be in Miami to score one.

Hungry Howie's: Fans of Hungry Howie's know that the pizza chain does flavored crust better than just about anybody in the pizza game, and February 2 is the perfect time to grab one. Order three pizzas on Sunday and you can nab a large one-topping pizza for just $8.

DiGiorno: Okay, so you do have to wait until March 14 (National Pi Day) to use this deal, but it's still pretty good. Keep your eyes locked on the score, because if it hits 3 to 14 or 14 to 3, DiGiorno will release a link for free pizza. Once the score changes, however, this deal is gone for good.

Pizza Inn: Pizza Inn's deal may not be as creative as DiGiorno's, but it's still pretty good. At all locations, customers can order two medium two-topping pizzas and 10 wings for $28.

CiCi's Pizza: The popular pizza buffet chain is offering up to three large one-topping pizzas for just $5 a pop. If that wasn't enough, if you spend $15 on pizza and use the promo code 80026 you can get 50 percent off a dessert order. Pretty sweet, huh?

Cumberland Farms: If you don't mind eating convenience store pizza on Super Bowl Sunday, then text GAMEDAY to 64827. This will nab you $2 off an $8 cheese or pepperoni pizza.

Everywhere else football fans can score freebies for Super Bowl 2020

From Asian stir fry to burgers and even kale — yes, kale — these are the underdogs of free Super Bowl food that might just help push your party into the endzone.

Dickey's Barbecue Pit: The barbecue chain is hooking up its customers with free delivery on all orders through both its website and mobile app for game day (via KCTV).

Panda Express: The fast-casual Asian cuisine chain started their Super Bowl deal over a week ago and customers can get $10 off a family feast. That's three large entrees and two sides. Just don't forget codeword SCOREBIG.

Auntie Anne's: Your favorite mall food court pretzel place is offering up a pretty fun deal for the game. Their Game Day Pretzel Pack includes two buckets of any variety along with 10 different dips (via Thrillist). Last year's deal was $45, so it's probably a safe bet the price won't be that much higher. The real kicker is that it comes in its own mini football stadium!

Farm Burger: The burger chain is offering up a Super Bowl family meal where you can feed a family of four — or your crew of football fans — for just $40. The meal includes burgers, fries, and for some reason — kale salad.

Avocados: You can't have guacamole without avocados, and Coupons.com is offering $2 worth of free avocados (via Thrillist). That probably won't buy more than one or two max, but hey, free guac always tastes better.
