You Can (Sort Of) Create Two Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches For The Price Of One

The idea that "two is better than one" doesn't apply to every situation in life. However, we think there are a number of people out there who would agree that it certainly rings true when it comes to Chick-fil-A sandwiches — especially when you can finagle your way into getting a pair of the iconic chicken sammies for the price of one. Well, sort of.

The budget-friendly menu trick has been making the rounds on the internet for some time now. In a video posted on May 2, 2023, one TikToker explained that all it takes to "legally" rob the Atlanta-based chain of an extra sandwich is to order a four-count box of Chick-n-Strips, which she then used to create two do-it-yourself sandwiches using buns she already had at home.

The TikToker showed that the strips run for $6.95 before tax at her local Chick-fil-A restaurant, while a single, à la carte sandwich is priced at $4.79. Therefore, the TikToker saved a little more than $2.50 with the hack (though savings may vary depending on your location).

How to create the Chick-fil-A hack

Now, that you have your chicken strips. You can add whatever type of buns that suits your taste, but if you want to get closest to Chick-fil-A, you should choose a white bun, buttered and slightly toasted. Of course, you could always order a set of buns at Chick-fil-A, but beware the restaurant may tack on an extra charge, as well. While that doesn't precisely even out to two sandwiches for the price of one, it certainly beats paying the full price.

Around $2.50 may not seem like a big chunk of change. However, the average savings that come from the TikToker's Chick-fil-A sandwich hack can be enough to potentially cover one of several add-ons to your order including an Ice Dream cone, waffle fries, or waffle potato chips, which are the cheapest side item on the menu

Of course, the internet is chock-full of other tips for saving money at Chick-fil-A, too. Another genius TikTok hack for getting a cheaper combo meal at the chain involves transforming a Chick-n-Strips kids meal into a sandwich using the same DIY method demonstrated in the aforementioned two-for-one trick.
