A TikToker Played Themself By Paying $20 For Free Taco Bell Sauce
It's no secret that people love Taco Bell's sauces, to the point of crafting homemade sauce rolodexes, collecting vintage sauce packets, and in general hoarding sauces whenever the opportunity presents itself. However, not too many of us can say that we've paid almost $20 to have Taco Bell's sauces -– which are free, mind you –- delivered to our house.
Such is the tale of one TikTok user, who initially set out to see how many free sauce packets they could score through the UberEats app. They placed an order for 100 packets, then paid $18.76 in taxes, delivery fees, and driver tip. When the order arrived, the TikToker was surprised to find 109 Taco Bell sauce packets in a KFC bag. Of course, the entire situation is bewildering, what with the KFC bag and the fact someone actually paid $20 for Taco Bell sauces to be delivered to their house, but it also has many people shaking their heads.
You don't need to pay $20 for Taco Bell sauces – ever
Before we get into a few far better ways to get your hands on Taco Bell sauces, let's address why a TikToker's Taco Bell order might have been delivered in a KFC bag. This isn't the first time the mix-up has occurred, but Reddit users theorize it could be either because some Taco Bells and KFCs share restaurant space, or due to the fact that the two chains share a parent company.

As expected, TikTok users acted in incredulous surprise over the strange delivery, with one user commenting, "All that and you didn't even order food." Let us remind you that sauce packets are free. Many questioned if paying almost $20 for sauce was a sound investment. As one user pointed out, you can just as easily buy a bottle of the sauce at Walmart or other grocery stores for under $2. The packets may not taste exactly the same as the store-bought bottle, but for the price, the taste is close enough.
