Two Fan Favorites May Be Making A Comeback To The Taco Bell Menu
Taco Bell has a lot to offer its customers. From cheesy bean and rice roll-ups to crunch wrap supremes and chicken and cheese quesadillas, Taco Bell has something to offer just about anyone. And while we all enjoy the occasional late-night taco binge, it can be frustrating when you arrive at the service counter only to discover that your go-to Taco Bell order was removed from the menu ... again.
Taco Bell is infamous for rotating menu items on and off its menu without much warning (see: nacho fries). The chain has previously removed a slew of its most eccentric offerings in an effort to design a more simplified menu. While it may have made for a more streamlined ordering experience, many Taco Bell fan favorites were wiped from the menu, leaving some customers with a bad taste in their mouths — literally and figuratively.
One of the most notable, exciting, and creative Taco Bell inventions in recent years came in the form of the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco. But the Dorito-shelled taco isn't the only interesting Taco Bell creation that's been removed from its menu; so too did the Beefy Crunch Burrito.
However, Taco Bell recently gave customers the option to vote on which iconic menu item should be revived — the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco or the Beefy Crunch Burrito.

Not everyone was happy with the results of Taco Bell's poll
Customers who follow Taco Bell on social media or are subscribed to its app notifications were invited to vote between the two fan favorites. After two weeks of voting (and some heated debates across Twitter), Taco Bell announced that the Beefy Crunch Burrito won the popular vote and will make its return in early August.

Despite some positive reactions from the many fans who voted in the burrito's favor, other customers were disappointed to discover Taco Bell had no intention to bring back their personal favorites. After the announcement was made on Twitter, one customer from the losing team replied, "Demanding a recount." Another customer, on a completely different page, quipped "Cool story. WHERE IS MY FREAKING CHILI CHEESE BURRITO!" Can't please everyone.
The return of the beefy crunch burrito arrives at the heels of the resurrection of Taco Bell's spicy Volcano Menu along with the coveted return of nacho fries. And although there are no concrete plans to bring back the Doritos Locos Tacos, at least we know Taco Bell is aware of the widespread cravings.
