Jason Sudeikis Loves Taco Bell – Just Like The Rest Of Us
When he's not playing an earnest American soccer coach in England on TV or bringing his charming humor to the big screen for chirpy comedies, Jason Sudeikis lives a pretty normal life. Despite his fame and being named one of Time Magazine's 100 most influential people of 2021, Sudeikis is really just a goofy dad who enjoys playing video games with his kids.
Long story short, Sudeikis is just like us (if you look past the $25 million net worth, of course). Don't believe us? Well, get this — the Ted Lasso actor revealed that he enjoys eating at the average man's favorite fast-food taco joint: Taco Bell. That's right, it's not all Michelin stars and expensive bottles of wine for the high-profile actor. Sudeikis recently sat down with Harpers Bazaar to gush over his love for the Mexican-inspired chain and proved that celebrity lives aren't always tinselled with glamor.
Sudeikis is a long-time fan of Taco Bell
In his interview with Harpers Bazaar, actor Jason Sudeikis said that he "genuinely loves" Taco Bell, particularly the one in his suburban hometown in Overland Park, Kansas. He added that he's loved the chain since he was a kid, and could even eat 10 Taco Bell tacos in one sitting if he wanted to — us too, Jason, us too.
But this isn't the first time the actor has opened up about his infatuation with the famous franchise. In 2014, he joined The Late Show with David Letterman and revealed that he almost missed the birth of his son to get Taco Bell. His ex-wife Olivia Wilde was in labor with their son when Sudeikis got a little restless. What better way to calm the I'm-about-to-be-a-dad nerves than with a little Taco Bell?
However, the actor is keenly aware of the health risks associated with fast food consumption. He said that his son also recently unearthed a passion for Taco Bell but added that it's probably, "the worst thing he's influenced him on." But if loving Taco Bell is wrong, we don't want to be right. Apparently, neither does Sudeikis.
