Aldi is one of our favorite spots for finding great deals, so we love stocking up on holiday and seasonal favorites. In fact, the price is certainly right at Aldi, which claims to have been voted number one among consumers for best prices.
From April 2 through April 8, 2023, Aldi's weekly specials feature items for sale and on sale that vary by store. Some locations offer special prices on all the essentials someone might include on an Easter menu, such as ham, pineapple, scalloped potatoes, and green beans. The weekly specials also include appetizers like shrimp cocktails and other necessary goodies for a charcuterie board. And, of course, items someone might need for outdoor entertaining, including rattan bar carts, patio dining tables, and even overhead pergolas.
As Easter Sunday 2023 approaches, some may wonder whether Aldi will be open or if they'll need to snag these deals before the Easter bunny hops down the bunny trail. Unfortunately for shoppers who might want to grab supplies, Aldi will be closed on Easter Sunday, so plan ahead!
Aldi is closed on Easter Sunday and other holidays
Along with Easter Sunday, Aldi stores are also closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Other holidays, such as Independence Day and Memorial Day, are open for limited hours. This means you won't be able to run to the store on Easter morning if you forget an ingredient for brunch or dinner, so be sure to be thorough when making your list in advance. We wonder if the Easter bunny checks his list twice like Santa Claus because it's a mighty good idea!
Aldi will, fortunately, be open on Good Friday, the Saturday before Easter, and Easter Monday for all your shopping needs. Curious about hours? It's also important to note that while Aldi stores were open in California and Arizona on Easter in 2022, these store locations appear to be closed for Easter Day 2023.
